Fire Extinguishers
ABC Dry Chemical Extinguishers
ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers provide fire protection for Class A (Paper, Wood, & Textiles), Class B (Flammable Liquid Fires), & Class C (Energized Electrical Fires). The Chemical make up of the ABC Dry Chemical Fire Fighting Agent is Mono-Ammonium Phosphate. This Chemical is Non-Toxic but can be corrosive when exposed to moisture or water. Although this chemical is rated to extinguish electrical fires, it is Not Recommended for sophisticated electrical gear such as computers or other electronic components due to its corrosive nature.
These ABC Dry Chemical extinguishers utilize a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate agent. It chemically insulates the Class A hazard by melting at approximately 350°F and coats the surfaces to which it is applied. It also smothers and breaks the chain reaction for Flammable Liquid type Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator for Class C fires. ABC Dry Chemical extinguishers, are available in Portable, Fixed and Wheeled models.

High Flow Fire Extgs. in ABC, BC & Purple K Dry Chemical
For Pressurized Flammable Liquid, Pressurized Gas or 3-Dimensional Fires. These High Flow Extinguishers must be used for these types of Fire Hazards and are now required as mandatory under all State and National Fire Code Requirements, per NFPA #10 Standards.
High Flow Category Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers are designed to deliver High-Flow Fire Extinguishing Chemical Agents at a High Discharge Rate of 1 lb Per Second. These Extinguishers offer a Much Greater Capability to Attack and Extinguish Pressurized Flammable Liquids, Pressurized Gas, or 3 - Dimensional Fires. These types of hazards can be Most Difficult to Extinguish. We highly recommend these High-Flow Dry Chemical Extinguishers for these types of hazards, as these High Flow Extinguishers are Now Mandatory under Ohio Fire Code & NFPA#10 for these types of Pressurized Flammable Liquid type Fire Hazards.
